Summary: Finally home. Sledge and other equipment all reached home, so my expedition is over in every way. This will be my last update. Explorersweb asked me to provide final interview. Once they publish it, I'll add link to my page. Together with my epilogue, I'd once again like to thank all the followers!

Mr. Lavoratory meets Samuel L. Jackson

Itseni nimesin mr. Lavoratoryksi lähinnä sen vuoksi, että vaikka valitsisin paikan ikkunan vierestä, niin veikkaan löytäväni itseni koneen vessojen vierestä tällä pitkällä lennolla Eurooppaan. Zen, anna minulle voimaa, rauhoittavat knaabut on näemmä aivan finaalissa!

Summary: there was a man in our flight from Punta to Santiago that looked more Samuel L. Jackson than Samuel himself. I had to ask him whether he has one of those wallets saying "bad m****f****r", but he didn't. On the other hand his jacket revealed he had run 48 marathons last year, I bet Samuel won't do them.

I named myself as mr. Lavoratory, as I'm pretty sure no matter which place I choose for this long flight to Europe, I'll be next to lavoratories. No matter if it is window, middle or aisle. So help me Zen, as I have ran out of all calming pills long time ago!

Kotimatka = paras matka

Summary: I have done a lot of trips abroad that have lasted more than one month, either backpacking, for work or expeditions. And every time the best part of the trip is the one that takes you home, no matter how great your trip was. This time is no exception either. Only thing I hate about it are long fly legs. As a tall guy I just hate to be in those too small flying objects.

I have been in Punta 3 weeks alltogether, and almost all nights in this pleasent and warmly run hotel called Ilaia, which I can recommend to any forthcoming expeditions as a place to stay. The whole stuff has treated me as their family members, so today was filled with emotional goodbyes. I have my wakeup call 3 AM and 3.45 I'll start my long trip towards the best country in the world, Finland!
